Kristina Francis is a Partner at Marathon where she is primarily responsible for due diligence processes, deal technology assessment, and portfolio monitoring. Ms. Francis has nearly 20 years of experience in leading roles of design, development, and implementation of large enterprise technical and cyber solutions for commercial and federal institutions.. She is also the Founder and CEO of Esteem Logic — an information technology consulting firm specializing in sustainable, scalable business solutions. Prior to founding Esteem Logic, Ms. Francis was a Director within Booz Allen Hamilton’s Systems Development Group, where she led a team of software developers, engineers, architects, and analysts on projects delivering tech and cyber innovations and solutions.

In addition to her roles at The Marathon Fund and Esteem Logic, Francis also currently serves as Board Chair of Black Girl Ventures, Board Member of Beacon DC, Venture Committee Member for Vinetta Project, Co-host of the Get Found Get Funded podcast, and Angel Investor and mentor to tech, mobile, and SAAS start-ups.

Francis received her BA in Psychology from Georgetown University and MS in Information Systems Management from George Washington University.
